Hi
What field name are you using? You might want to try making sure it's "text" although I'm sure it is, it doesn't matter if it's ASP or not, it'd still do the same thing (html).
Should be something like
<input type="text" /> , yeah? Otherwise, shoot me the code, and i'll have a look
