Installation and Configuration of CA Spectrum, NetIQ Framework, monitoring, Enterprise Console or equivalent management tools on the management server Windows and UNIX platforms Configuration of backend database for EMS MS-SQL/ Oracle Installation of NetIQ Windows servers, Solaris servers, HPUX servers and AIX servers - building the parameter monitoring templates and applying those to the agents Apply patches and licenses as needed Discovery of the managed elements (servers, network devices); creating maps as per client requirements, applying filters as needed Configure event console as per the user requirement, define correlation rules and actions as needed in built as well as custom scripts (shell, Perl) Installation and configuration of Performance agents and manager Installation and configuration of application plug-ins Generation of various reports built-in as well as using Reporting product Trouble shooting problems faced during implementations and coordinating with vendor technical support for any issues faced Documentation of the implementation / customization done in the projectsSkills: Tool Admin Level - 2 and #61607; Good exposure to the following modules is required Network management Server and Application management Business service management Network and system performance management Centralized reporting and #61607; Should have very good understanding of the IT infrastructure area Server hardware OS: Windows, Solaris, HPUX , AIX Networks: LAN, WAN Cisco, 3Com etc Messaging: MS-Exchange, sendmail, Lotus Notes and #61607; Should have worked as a System Integration Engineer / Network Administrator and acquired hands-on experience in the above areas in large and complex setups and #61607; Should be proficient-skilled in at least one of the above areas and #61607; Should have good understanding of infrastructure management processes; good understanding of process framework like ITIL is needed. and #61607; Expertise on NetIQ, CA Spectrum Framework, monitoring, Enterprise Console
