Can you explain to me how you did it?? or did you just backed the files up and restarted??

my problem is that I created my website on one computer which had the display settings on my monitor to my liking but today after creating the most of the website I decided to test it and see so far how it looks on other computers ect.

so I have 3 other computers in my house and gave it a try one computer was ok since it had the same settings as the one computer I used to make the site on.

The other computers had different display settings larger ones one was a laptop the other a desktop. So now since my positions are aboslute in px it would stay at where I position it and the website became wider causing the background image to be repeated. I have seen other websites that at any display settings there website would adjust to the display settings.

I am stumped on how to make my website to adjust to the users monitor/display settings.

I asked this on 3 different fourms and then googled web development and got here so today I registed hopeing to get an answer since the only answer I gotton was remake your website and design it with a liquid design.

I spent so far 1 year into making this and don't feel like starting over from scratch.

If you can explain to me what you done to bypass this please do...

I don't fully understand what you mean by reupload?? I have my own server. and I am using css and html. I am starting on the parts to give the website advance functions in javascript.
