For instance, if it's registered at GoDaddy, you should have total control over locking/unlocking domain, changing nameservers, contact info, etc.
Even if the hosting company is the registrar as well, you should still have access to a control panel to manage your domain(s).
How exactly are they holding hostage? Is it registered through the hosting company as well? | | | | | |
