Here is an idea that I just implemented on one of my sites. I was looking for ways to make more money per CPM. I currently use google adsense and have a pretty good idea of how much I make per ad per 1000 impressions.

Armed with this information I went to

acts as a middleman connecting ad seller with ad buyers. The great part is they let you set your asking price AND use backup adsense code if there are no buyers.

So... you get the best of both worlds. If someone is willing to pay your asking price then

will handle the details. If there are no direct buyers for your ads than the

will default back to the Adsense code.

Basically I am able to offer my ads on

for a price that I feel is fair and if there are no buyers my Adsense code will be used instead.
