Reciprocal links takes place when you ask other website owners to place a link to your site on their own. In return you will also place their link on your site. That is why it is called reciprocal.
One way links refer to sites that place a link to your own but you do not place a link back to them.
Too many reciprocal links have bad effect if you get links from sites that are not related to your own. If you place links to other people on one page and you end up with more than 35 links on just same page that is also bad.
