I have a friend who has his adsense account banned. I just want to know if that really happens to you, is there a chance or possibility that your account can get reinstated? Maybe a appeal or something might work? I just want to hear your opinion and possibly from real experience.

I think we must follow tos of Adsense if you get banned once its very difficult to get new account with same name. And may be if you have very good earnings all will be lost.

The Adsense account will only get banned by the Googler's when some thing seems to be fishy from the site owner using the adsense program on their sites.

This will only result to get banned from the Adsense, the main reason for it is not using appropriate methods, breaking rules mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.

So, read the terms and conditions for better results and escape from getting your account banned.

You should have received notice before suspension of your account. Just reply to that notice and request for re-instate. Give the justification for re-instate of your account.

Ok. I think I will explain that to him. I'm not sure about the suspension notice because I never hear him mention that. I guess what we do is very important, if we use illegal methods chances of getting back is very slim.
