I once accidentally click my own ads because I was using my laptop touchpad. Luckily nothing happened because I was scared they would ban my account. I was advised by my friend that if you accidentally click on it, you should immediately inform Google about it. Do we really need to do that?

I clicked my ads a few times. I think it's ten times or so now in 6 months. It wasn't on purpose but it happened. It's been more than 6 month since I have google adsesne account and nothing happened.

The problem appears if you have the same IP and click them. For example, you register with ip x, then you click and re click your ads from the same IP, on the same site over and over. Also, if you have a heigher CTR than 6% or so, google will keep an eye on you and your adsense CTR.

I won't risk my account doing that. It's quite dangerous and google never bother to give you a warning or that sort. If they feel that you've overdone it, they will just ban straight away and that's it.

I think if its once then ok but more than once than you are in danger. You should take care of it while browsing your own site with adsense google may ban you for this.

Well that would be a bad thing... I'll take care of it. Now I browse with a Adsense Block Addon on, so there is no way I will ever click my ads again. To bad for the others, because I won't be seeing their ads neither.
