I have a problem that I'm sure many other adwords users face as well. That is, I wish to accurately track ROI from my ads. I was thinking to point my ads to specially designed webpages that would then redirect to actual pages. That way I could set up goals to say that a guy enters from one page, then he redirects to my signup form and then he does some specific action (achieves the goal) that I desire. This would be in contrast to users who just go to the signup page and achieve the goal but don't come through the redirected adwords landing page.
Long and short - Is this illegal to do? Is it bad to do because the page I am sending visitors to won't have any content? How do other people handle this problem of wanting to track adwords success?
Thanks,
Matt
