How much do you earn so far from affiliate program? Please share with newbie like me and I am really appreciate for those who willing to help. How do you choose the best products and how to market it?

For my understand, choose the suitable product is very important. What is suitable product? Suitable product is base on your traffic and your topic.
If your traffic mostly is from UK, then choose those product which aiming UK market; if your site is talking about travel, choose the travel related product.
That's what i know and i would like to heard form others advises.

I'm a newbie too and would be interested in advertising and promoting an affiliate product. I just don't know where to start. Any tips etc or product that can be paid via paypal would be highly appreciated.
