How many banners do you use on your blogs. Are they sidebar banners, or header like banners on top of your content, or under?
I don't have banners on my blog, but I am going to construct other sites and blogs, and I want to know your point of view about this concept. I think that more than 4 sidebar banners and 1 header banner is more than enough. Am I right?

I think having banner is great to promote your website. So far I've only used top banner before but never think of the intention of having more than one. Usually the reason is because I don't want to have too many distracting images and of course the less the better as it could help to prevent slowdown in page loading

These days more than 70% of the people have a broadband connection. Soon more that 90% will have high speed internet, so I don't think that having a few extra images is a problem...

Well, it depends on what you want. Some people like yourself would want the whole page to be filled with banners and to me, that's fine with me and as long as you visitors don't complain of being too distracting. The choice is obviously yours but for me, I don't like having too many.
