Plus, it's not fair to tar an entire country with one brush if it's only a few people misusing the sites.

Rep Power: 22 | | Re: PTC Racism? I pay attention to the content of the ad if it seems interesting to me. So it's not only because of money. But i hate ads with speaking and windows pop-up. where i look forward to the countdown saying 'done'.
As for racism, I also don't think it's racism, I think owners ban users from certain countries when they have problems with them, like cheating, not just because they are people of a different nationality.

I said the vast majority - me included.

Most big ptc businesses are marketed for English speaking countries, so it is of no market value to them to open their sites to non English speaking countries..nothing to do with racism but rather good business sense?

There's only around 370 million in the UK and USA alone, so not good business sense at all - it's like asking 2 identical twins for a survey and expecting to get everyone's point of view.

So therefore, it makes no sense to include them into an ENGLISH SPEAKING business strategy, does it? The amount of people that can speak English well enough(advanced and fluently) in these two countries are such a minority, it really isn't worth it for any ENGLISH business to include them, is it?

Rep Power: 22 | | Re: PTC Racism? As for India, wikipedia says the following: Official languages: Hindi, English.
I think if the majority didn't speak English, it wouldn't be an official language there There may be other Asian countries where people know the language. So I don't understand the sense of demographic online business for English.

Rep Power: 27 | | Re: PTC Racism? They could do it but myself don't see any point by blocking what I also call racism on ptc that some usa websites only let usa people and not europe that also feel like racism sometimes so it all in meny ways on the internet but its not alright.

Rep Power: 56 | | Re: PTC Racism? I really don't understand how people can even consider this racism. It's perfectly legitamate business. If a company is based in America, traffic outside America is probably useless. It would be like selling tshirts from one country. It rarely makes financial sense to pay all the shipping and other charges just so someone in another country can buy it. It's not racism at all, it's not as if the owners are saying they won't accept someone from another country because of their skin colour etc. It's just because they are bad for business.
