I have seen some times banner annoyed users a lot so i am not in favor of putting banners which are not organized well. There should be a fixed size of banners to convey your message or attract customers . What should be an appropriate size ?

It will be a full size banner for me . There should be some small banners too . Those are also a good source to attract and deliver your message .

I do not like too many little banners . I think to deliver your message by a banners is an excellent idea .

I keep my banner size to 125x600 for advertising my sites. It vary from site to site.

I'm not selective on a particular size. To me, the banner should not be too big or too small and main thing is that the banner must be able to blend in exactly to my site. I will always try with different combination of banner size to see which one looks nicer.

I like the banner format 728x90. Gives the banner a nice look and you have enough space to display your message on it. Also this banner size gets noticed.

I use all different sizes of banners for my sites... what ever fits the design of the site. I would however recommend not using the same size twice on the same page... or else people start to be more concious that it is advertising.
