When we used to go the hotel, after having the mean, dinner after getting the bill, we will make the payment through the waiter, when he bring back the bill and the balance amount, we used to pay some amount as "TIPS" to the waiter, who served you..

Some times, when we go to the some of the new hotels, they make us to wait for a long times, we will be irritated, in those cases, i never pay any of the TIPS to any one.. Even i pay, that may be very meger amount..

What about you..? will you have a habit of paying the TIP to the waiter in the hotel (Restaurant) or Lodges where you stay..?

Nowadays it's considered a kind of good manner to give 'tips' and I do it unless I'm unsatisfied with the service. I have even read about certain % of the money to be given, but I think it's exaggerated and it's everyone's personal decision. If one wants to thank, he/she is free to do it, if not- not a problem.))

I generally always tip. It also depends what country you're in. I know in Germany it is normal to give €1-2 as a tip after the meal, but here in Ireland it is far more common to give 10% of the price.

It is depend which country you are in. I know that quite many euro country do need to give tips but most the asia country is not, some even set a rules that can not give the tips.

i always tip except when i'm unsatisfied with the service that i got. i tip waiters, bartenders, and porters. i do find it very beneficial if you tip well to bartenders. i've have a lot of free drinks becuase i have always tipped the bartender well.
