Did you default any of your PDC (Post Dated Cheque)??One it was happened at our office, we use to give the PDC for our Raw material purchases.. every month it used to come to our bank on 10th.

We use to make the money ready in our account on 7th itself..

During the March End, our head office due to some Auditing purpose, they transfer all our bank account money was transferred to our Head office Account (Mumbai Account).

In the first Week we have some Leave has been offered.. Office re-open only on 10th, The cheque has come to bank, and get dishonoured..

The person called our boss, and inform the details, my boss gets very angry, he called our Accounts person and shout like anything..

He also forget the mumbai account money transfer.
He called the bank and they said only minimum balance is available in all our account (we have 7 account in the said bank)

Afterwords only he recognise that the H.O. money transfer, he come to boss and inform the same, then boss called the MD at mumbai, and ask them to transfer the fund, and inturn the Account person in mumbai is on leave for two days..

So after Two days only the money will get transferred, then only the cheque re-deposited and get passed..

Do you have experienced anything like this??
