well i know sumthin about hacking, but still hav to learn a lot...
many people are confused WHAT HACKING REALLY IS...
lemme tell you sumthin about this world...
hacking as percieved by most of u is sumthin bad..
but this is not so..
it is only about gaining knowledge about information security and finding and fixing the security loophole...
when this knowledge is used for good purposed (ie increasing the security) it is termed as HACKING (and the person as white hat hacker)...
but when the same knowledge is used for personal means and to spread piracy, then it is termed as CRACKING...
legally,as u can see, cracking is a crime and hacking is not..
so there is a very thin line of conscience, which is between hacking and cracking..between legal and illegal...
so hacking is nothing more than just outsmarting the other guy and i find it rather as a battle of wits rather than sumthing bad....
but as hacking is not allowed in this forum, so i won't be bringing this topic again and again...
and i sincerely hope that u understand the difference, and stop hating hackers (which are being defamed by the media, as hackers are really gud guys trying to make internet a safe place)...
it is really crackers (or black hat hackers), which we need to be beware of, and should be despised....
i hope m not breaking any rules of the forum by spreading some general knowledge..

well that is really good information. well i never thought that cracking is what we really the term for the things we are really afraid of and not really hacking.

Wait... There are Black & White hackers.
Black hackers are hackers that tries to get money, or just want to be bad.
White hackers are hackers that crack, hack and when they have the money, they contact administrator , and gives the money back, just to show that it's easy to hack their system.
well dude white hats are those who just hack the sites to find the security holes..and then ask the admins for telling the fault..
they dont do anything wrong..just ask for the payment for work they have done.

white hats. i really don't know if we can really consider that as white hats. anyways, so you will ask payments for telling the admin that they have holes on their sites.
