Recently this forum allowed personal avatar to be uploaded. I just want to know how much your avatar reveal about you? Would you choose the opposite gender avatar? For example if you are female, would you choose a masculine avatar? Like a male actor, or vice versa? Mine of course is real. That is me in pink there.

i never use avatar. and i prefer not to reveal my picture over internet.
maybe i'll just put celeb pic or cartoon picture in my avatar.

I understand anonymity and the right to protect privacy. But do you guys put opposite gender avatars? If so may I know WHY?

Believe it or not but last time someone said that people like female avatars especially for PTC site owners. I mean they prefer to show themselves as "females". I know this sounds weird and deceptive. As for forums, I really have no idea. The normal thing is people will just choose a celebrity but they would still choose someone of the same gender. As for folks that choose the opposite gender, I really have no idea at all. Any theories out there?

My avatar is the universe because that's my ultimate traveling destination. I am patiently waiting for the day we could all afford to travel outside this world we live on. As soon as there are frequent commercial flights to the universe, I'll book my ticket!

actually, i dont have a theory except, people has the freedom to use whatever photo for their avatar. and sometimes, they need to hide their identity for whatever reasons they may have. how about you? what do you think?
I found out one problem after this forum implement the contests on album. I fail to upload my avatar since i have no idea how to make it since i never upload my avatar on forum. Anyone can write a toturial on regarding this?

Go user panel => edit avatar they pick your avatar from your pc and upload it ... Done =)
=> I never use a photo of me for a avatar, becouse i don't have photo's of me on the computer, now i have a avatar with a "citate" (one liner)
