Hello I am going to start leting my Visitors download games. but I don't know just how to do it, can I have a Root folder on my desk top with a link going to the game they want or do I have to upload all the download all the games to my website Root Folder??

I either don't understand the idea with the desktop, or it doesn't seem to work, if I understood what you meant..
I think you have to upload them to the site root folder. what games are you talking about? If they are flash games, you have probably found them somewhere where they are uploaded, so maybe you can just use that link? |

From my opinion, I think maybe you can upload the game file onto a server that provides a place for you to upload files and then give you a link that people can download them. (eg.

This is so much easier (at least I think so) to make it possible for everyone to download, rather than finding lots of scripts to put it on own website.

You can put your games anywhere on in site folders, once you link it back to the file....
If you want someone to download a file pack them in a zip/rar file upload them to your site...then the link will be like , if in the {main derectory of the site}

Ok I got the downloading to work thank you for your help. the reason I wanted to put them in a file on my desk top was so I could save disk pace on my website.

Thank you for all your posts | But if you were to be doing like this, you will have to open your CPU 24/7. Or else people cannot download if you off your CPU.
