Does google care about the traffic, like alexa.com do ?! Some people says, that google can use the google toolbar for submiting your website to a category. Like if lot's of people who visits "AAA related" sites, will also visit your website, and your website is also "AAA related" then you will rank very high for AAA keywords... what do you think about this!?

Google care about the traffic? Hmmm...I don't quite get it what you mean over here. Basically Google never go and measure the traffic, they have their own system of ranking known as PR. And what they really matter is the links pointing to your site.

I too don't think google really cares about the traffic you receive at your site. Like Zenneth said google uses other metrics like the quality of the pages that hold your backlinks to rate the PR of your site

Traffic can mean nothing, even the alexa ranking, they just count the person who are using the alexa tool to search, and how about the others? At the same time, some of the people keep refresh their own page to get high alexa ranking.
Google know well about this, therefore google create their own calculation system call PageRank(PR), is one kind of vote system from network. In this case, if you have backlink with more high PR site, your PR ranking is raise up more.

I think traffic is nothing for your website, but might be helpful to your rank,but what google want to get is target traffic, if we want to earn from google, we have to find target traffic and with more clicking .
If we can get traffice from google, it is better for us.

traffic will not affect your ranking in google. Of course in term of you are doing adsense or some CPC/CPM programs, definately the traffic will give you benefit but it can give you value of the site.

I ever think traffic is the most important thing for google ads,but now I know they are important to earnings,but not so important to rank,right?

I think traffic is imporant to your website, even if for google, if you got less traffic but a lot of clicking to your ads, you might got banned to your google ads account.

I think you are taking the thread OP Wrong. A way to increase ranking in Google is to search your site through alexa bar from different PC's that's why he/she is asking that if site can get high ranking just by searching the site in Google Toolbar.

Well at the moment it is said that traffic doesn't matter to Google. Well you cant say that its true, because only Google knows it. But recently there were rumors spreading around that Google is building some kind of "siterank" similar to Alexa. Because a lot of people are using Google toolbar and Google can easily track the traffic to a website and i believe that it would be even better prediction than Alexa, because Alexa is so easy to cheat...
