True Google is a pretty easy name to remember. But yeah I have to agree that it's the service and the quality of the search engine that's kept it alive all these years.

I don't think the reason and justification saying that two "g" and two "o" makes it easier to remember is accepted. When I was first introduced to google, I used to type the spelling as "goggle" because the double "o" was mistaken as double "g"

There should be other reasons and explanation other than the one you say...

They have a main reason to use Google if you search it.

Google mean "very big" in some language...

When I hear google name for the first time, it was very strange. Back then, I didn't know it was a search engine. Thought it was somekind of famous brand name for clothing. Lol.
Today, it's the most known and famous name that even my 7 year old niece can spell correctly.

well i read that Goooogle means something large, some large number and then google was a large search engine and so it was named google

first search engine service i use is yahoo, when i see google, i feel can't accept to use this new search engine. but now i am ok with both, but seem like google have beter reputation in their search engine.
