its true what you have stated and read about Google's domain name..actually it also coincides with the learning behavior in medical terms..i.e. when we are kids and start learning to speak..Go..Go..among the very first words that we utter apart from ma..ma..and pa..pa..
You might be astonished to know that even "GoDaddy" gave their company this name based upon the same scientific criteria..as I said..Go..Go..and also Da..Da..

I never think about it.
But it could be one of the reason it was chosen as the domain name.
But compare with yahoo, yahoo sound better since it may be used daily to scream when you get what you want.
