What PR has Google awarded your website(s)?
I heard that it's hardest to get onto the scale in the first place, and then going up to about 5 is relatively simple..

My blog PR is only able to reach PR4 after few months. If your site able to reach PR5 will consider as quite good, and those PR with 7 above is superb site

Ranges from PR 0 to PR 3, mostly PR 1's though. I didn't think getting PR 1 was all that difficult but beyond PR 3 seems thougher.

As Known that the higher PR, the harder to get.
For example from PR0 to PR1 maybe need 10points, but from PR1 to PR2 might need 100 point, PR2 to PR3 need 1000points and so on.
That's why is not easy to get high PR, you need to work harder and harder to get better PR.

That's a good result. If you can increase your PR to 5 or 6, then your site earning will be much better

I have a lot of pages which has 0-4 PR. But I like 1 of them whose PR is 5.

That's not easy to increase your PR from 4 to 5. Anyway, i think backlink is the only way, maybe the social network and directories might help you

well it is really hard to get good pr. i really think that my pr is still 0. well i really don't have any traffic at all. hopefully i will be able to know the pr of my blog soon. how do we know it any way.

Well, PR actually not related to your traffic, it much depend on your backlink If you like to check your PR, you can go to http://www.prchecker.info/.
For your information, PR will only update 3~4 month once, the next update will be june if not mistaken
