I think besides content, some images, pie charts, graphs can enhance the professionalism of a blog. Especially if the blog is a business one. Tutorial type of blogs can do well to have screen shots of technical stuff to make things easier to understand. Even for personal blogs, readers want to "connect" with the blog owner and therefore some family photos ( if you are not too concerned with privacy), or places you have been to, food that you like- I am still talking about photos here, can really retain some of your reader's attention.

I really have no idea...lol
The visitor only stand on my blog for 5minutes++ in average. However, I do have more then 40 articles. Still looking some effective way to improve on it
