Can anyone tell me which type of blogs can drive more and more traffic? I am trying to launch technical blog. Will I get good traffic? How can I improve PR of my blog?

Technical in which way? A tutorial blog, a blog about the latest achievements in a technical domain or what? Apart from the regular promotion that you do on any type of blog and site, you should search and try to see if there are indexing sites related to your content. For example, if you write tutorials, you should submit to 20~30 or maybe 40 tutorial indexing sites to boots your traffic, and PR .

I think what he means is which niche should the blog be centered around. I think if you are talking about being technical, you could consider starting a blog about latest computer gadgets, hardware and mobile phones. These are among the sought after niche right now.

All the blog can give you more and more traffic if you have more and more good content inside.
To improve your PR, at first you shall improve your content. If you having a great content, some related quality site will look for you or you can request for link exchange with the quality site. This will help you improve the PR fast and maintain the stability of the PR.

I am not sure whether the technology blog can gain great traffic or not, I think if the content are really good, you can really get good traffic, even if I don't like this kind of blog at all.
I prefer paid to post blog.

I think if there are some good technology tips in your blog, you can get good traffic, but if there is no original content, you could not get good traffic .
