i think what i did before was to post and post. then i told friends about it. i put it in my friendster account. then i signed up for a couple of directories. then i made more online friends. doing good so far. I think they will not give ranking when it started. It was only after the PR update that you can observe any changes. First of all, it will measure the amount of backlinks. That's what I know.
