Personally I always prefer blogger and I always recommend this to my friends. It may look simple because there are less customization options but overall, it is much simpler to setup and manage. Like I said both has their pros and cons.

i have two. they are both equally easy to use and indexed by google. moreover, there are so many widgets to choose from...makes blogging fun and interesting

blogger is good for blogs without paid hosting.
nothing can beat wordpress with dedicated hosting.

If U r new in blogging then blogger is the best. and if u expert on blogging then wordpress is the best. I perfer most of the time blogger.com. Its very easy.
