My boss has been concerned recently that when he searches our companies main keywords our positions in the sponsored results have been much lower than we target, sometimes losing visibility entirely. On checking my machine and others at the office, the results are showing as we want them to. I am aware that previous activity on google may have an impact upon the results it will display, persumably through the use of cookies, but I am struggling to find a clear way/reason to explain this to him.
Please can anyone help me understand how google shows different results for the same keywords on seraches made at the same time? Could it be that because he searches regularly for the keywords and doesn't click our links (as they cost him money), Google determines that the link is not relevent for him and thus alters the links position?
