Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has tried Keyword Country?

I recently found the software and from what they say it seems to be a great tool for researching keywords. From the videos they show on it, it looks like you can find high paying and low competition keywords. Has anyone tried it?

i am having trouble understanding keywords. i know it helps our sites, but where do we put the keywords? in our articles ??? like in our blogs, do keywords matter in the tags?

hey sigroid75,

keywords are very important for your site! Typically you want to put the keywords of your site into the content. So if your site was about jewellery, then your keywords could be "wedding rings, rings, bracelets" and such. Part of searching engine ranking deals with keywords as it relates to the relevant content for what the customer is searching for. I know that google and yahoo are very particular about this!!!

Your keywords should also go into the meta tags used on your site..

For example

<meta name="keywords" content="IT, Information technology, technology, tech, hi-tech, hi tech, high tech, new tech, blog, blogger, blogging, tech blog" />

Remember that the meta tag goes between <head> and </head>. Keywords that go in the meta tag are important as it allows google to readily know in general what your site is about.

Keyword research is a vitally important aspect of your search engine optimization campaign. If your site is targeting the wrong keywords, the search engines and your customers may never find you, resulting in lost dollars and meaningless rankings.
