. The logic given was that Google keeps in it's index only ...com/ so why put in the extra index.asp . It was also mentioned that it can cause duplicate pages issues with the SEs seeing two identical pages, one with the index.asp and one without it.
My question is, that at a site that has all the internal linkings to the home page with index.asp, would it be wise to remove it? Will it cause any complications?
The site is ranking very well on high searched keywords, but could do better. I would appreciate anyone's help.
