The logic given was that Google keeps in it's index only ...com/ so why put in the extra index.asp . It was also mentioned that it can cause duplicate pages issues with the SEs seeing two identical pages, one with the index.asp and one without it.
My question is, that at a site that has all the internal linkings to the home page with index.asp, would it be wise to remove it? Will it cause any complications?
