We are considering a change of PPC agency as we feel our current campaigns are not working hard enough for us (still getting good results compared to offline advertising but we know we can do better online). We are also getting a bit fed up paying a management fee just to have a spreadsheet sent once an week while the actual campagn is managed almost entirely by an automated bid management tool.
I am led to believe that agencies earn a commission of about 5-10% on the keyword spend, and the agancy we are considering use their own bid management tool and as such do not incurr a cost here. My boss has now said that he doesn't want to pay either a bid management tool click fee (as we currently do) or a management fee (again as we currently do) and feels that the commission that the new agency will earn on our £20 - 30k monthly keyword spend should be enough. I am meeting with this agancy soon and want to check if this is a realistic expectation before I do so - I have been in contact with them previously and they are very impressive so I would not like to annoy them too much and put them off by demanding the ridiculous.
Any thoughts..?
