Hi,

According to a recent study performed by the Dutch Institute for Marketing (NIMA) google users don't scroll through the results anymore.

"Almost half of all users of Google in The Netherlands rather enter a new search word than bother to scroll. Google hits and ads that don't show up in the very first result screen are becoming futile.

I think it will in specific area . There are a lot more things to do with a page came out after a specific search . I think SERPS's are doing a good job . There are many search engines which changed the SERP's style like kartoo and snap .

5 or 6 years ago when i was introduced to internet , i was happy to make friends through MIRC but now since 3 years i have never used it . It means there is rapid change in behaviors and lifestyles .

Yes i do agree to it. I think more than fifty percent are in the favor of not scrolling. But you can underestimate the google. Google is king of internet world. It provided facilities and lots of comforts to internet surfer and to men & women in IT field

It's interesting, I didn't know it was that much.
Google is the single biggest online only company, I have a feelling that they are getting .. a little too big?

I agree with all you. Google is number one search engine defeating all old timers like yahoo.
However, there are some people who are versatile. Sometime they like to scroll down but sometimes not
