I have got an offer from designer to sponsor his theme and template. He told me that if I pay him he will put my link with template. So whenever people use it my link will be there on their site.

They have designed wp themes and offer them free for download. Usually whenever someone install them, they give a backlink to webhostingbluebook.com.

So, a single theme can generate 100s of backlinks for you.

Well that's actually a brilliant idea to generate a lot of links. However, you need to be careful and ensure that the designer really abide to his promises. Also check out whether the templates is a hot item or not and whether people would want to download it.
