How long does yahoo take to find your backlinks? I used the link:mywebsite.com thing and it didnt find any backlinks for my website i know i have the backlinks though... how long does it usually take for yahoo to update these things?

Normally, for me, it finds them faster than Google does, try using the site explorer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com); that seems to index very quickly for me.

Google seems to take awhile for me. The link increases always come in big jumps, they don't seem to get updated for a couple of weeks and them I tend to see big jumps in one day.

i really don't understand about yahoo and google. what do they have to do with those backlinks. well i really do backlinks. i really don't know which one is being used when i do backlinks. i really don't know if they used yahoo. or google.

I never care about this. Just forget it after you submit your url. Then go work for your content. You can see the result after you work hard on your content.
