I want to fetch 5th maximum value from the salary field, is it possible to do that. I am using max function to fetch maximum value but dont know how to fetch 5th maximum
Please help

You can use Limit to get your problem solved. Use it following way.

select salary from <Table> order by desc Limit 5,1

Try it and let me know if you have any problem with it.
