One of my client is having poker community. Is there any good and effective way to market these type of community? If you have done it before please advise.
I know a friend of mine try to popularize it by having a forum integrated to it. You could also work on providing tips and knowledge how to win and play especially for newbies and attract traffic from it.
There are some one who are good at poker can earn great money from poker community,but most people will lose the money in those community . So what I can say is if you are good at it, it is a great place to earn money, if not, it is a great place to lose money.

Yes, I know there are some one take poker as their job, so they are really so professional with poker and they really can earn money from this kind of programs, and every community will hire them .

If some one really can earn great money as poker player, they really have to be good player and they usually will win and never loss, so if you join this kind of programs, and play with those player, the only chance is losing your money.

if you can understand this and be far away from poker site before you have some speical skill, it is really better for you, as you take the chance to save money, you don't have to lose any money in the game.

Well a comunity is made for people who wants to learn poker, not for the pro ones.
If you want to market o comunity you first have to fill it up with content. If its a forum - hire some posters, if its an article website - hire some article writers. And then when you have alot of content up just advertise it and the users will come To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater.
