I thought I;d do something different with my Make-Me-Money website and see how well regular fliers would work.
I knocked up some fliers which look like paper money but with details of the site and how it is an info website etc.
Its worked pretty well.
after offloading some to people in the street. Getting a local shop to put some up in the window and other techniques of getting them out I got quit a dramatic hit rate and made some dosh on the ads on the site too.

Gonna think up some other weird and wonderful marketing strategies . . .just to see what works. Will keep folk informed

Hmm. You have a very interesting site, though. I can't help but notice the lack of links out...XD I, for one, would have liked more info on specifics (e.g. payment by which processor, average amount earning), but ah well.

Here it's more like people can't be bothered to spend time to get little money...I feel kinda embarrassed asking them to join PTC or PTS sites. So lazy -- prevalent attitude = "Can't Be Bothered'

Well yeah it is but some areas in the city where people are involved in Business is less interested in computers and all. I think you can understand what I can say..

Regarding IT and India, it is booming in India.

yearh i thought so too! just yesterday, a girl from india sent me YM if i need her services. and almost all the people who give me advice are from india. it seems they are so much into the IT stuff.

HEy i am not from iNdia but what the hell helping with what i can is what i will do.Seems like there are alot of Indians in this forum. HI from my side to all of them.
In my city my dont even use internet as much as i do. THis dont mean they can afford it. They have it but dont use it. They think whats the use. let alone asking them to signup as a refferal.

Well in short what I mean is people who do business, are least interested in all these internet and stuff (they are around 30), they don't even get time for going online and stuff Even if they can afford it... Some people here cannot afford the inetrnet...

Some people like big IT companies, even small have alot of work to do instead of going online and earn small amount of money from all these sites...

yup! in our city, even if more and more people can be seen carrying laptops, but there are still more people who need to buy food first and settle their hungry stomachs than be concerned with internet. so old fashioned marketing tools still affect them and work on them, especially if they are your target market.

That is a good marketing trick - make the customer feel as if they have gained something by getting what looks to be money.

Also, getting a flier seems much more personal - it is a phsyical object and not just on a screen where it is easier just to ignore.

Also, if you really want to get in people's good books, have them made from recycled paper - people in the UK whine a lot about junk mail or wasted paper.

Just make sure people don't mistake it for counterfeit money or something!
