The alexa rank does not matter for me. I more concern on the PR which can show your site value in more accurate

I do agree with you. Now a day’s alexa rank is not important as compare to PR. Now I am also concentrating on PR building instead of getting listed in alexa.

If you install alexa tool, and you open your own website, it count also. However, do not try to refresh too many time to get better ranking.
