Hi face3k,

It's not about the number of months to get a certain PR. To tell you the truth, It can take years to even get a PR ranking if no proper SEO technique is applied. Rather than worrying, make use of your time and effort to concentrate on getting backlinks and fill your site with keyword rich content.

If you do like to have some good PR, then try to concentrate on your content, at the same time, do some SEO. Then you will get the PR in short time, else you will never been catched by google

these are very good tips. i hope to apply these when i get my site up. aside from these tips i'll be advertising my site to my online friends. word of mouth is a good inexpensive but highly effective way to let others know about your site.
