Hi, newbee here, but this seemed to be the place to get the answers.

I have used several "fake page rank" checkers, and most seem reliable. However,
I recently registered 2 domains, that were "available" thru a program I have that finds expired domains that still have a PR.

I registered them, have the free parking at GoDaddy, and they both have a PR 3.
I know for a fact that there is not a 301 or 302 re-direct, yet several of the fake PR checkers say "invalid" for the PR.

Is it possible it is because they were expired, and I just registered them?
They had the "PR3" before they were parked at GoDaddy, and still do.

Just curious as how they could be fake PR when there was no existing site, and they were expired.

Domains are: aiajesi.org and wordsnimages.org

It's valid PR. Can you give example of PR check that says the PR is invalid.

Says it's a fake pr.

I couldn't post as links as I don't have 10 posts yet.

Is this because the domain had expired, and then I registered it?
Just looking for some explanation as to why it would be coming up as fake or unable to verify.

Hi, I have another domain that is showing as "invalid" at the page rank checker here at this site. (Using the link you gave previously) The domain is PR4,
no 301 or 302 redirects, and is cah parked at GoDaddy.

The domain is: AOL-KURIKKA.NET

What would cause it to show as a fake PR4? It also was expired, and then I registered it yesterday.

I am still investigating this issue ... Did you checked PR of AOL-KURIKKA.NET prior to registration?

Jason, Yes, I checked PR on aol-kurikka.net before I registered it and it was PR4.
Checked the aiajesi.org and wordsnimages.org as well, both PR3

I want to sell the domains, but need to get the "valid page rank" issue resolved, as I don't want to sell something with a "fake" PR.

Still not sure as to how it could be fake, as I do not have any re-directs. I have them all parked at GoDaddy, and don't even have access to the index or .htaccess files.
