well it was the 1st pr update for my blog and it got a pr3 ,is it good enough?i am new in it so dont know about that much ,and what about backlinks ,how can we get those?? | |

google doesn't update page ranking often, that is for one. and of course, you have to work at having a PR. it is not enough to post. make friends and encourage those on your mailing lists to check on your blog once in awhile. All websites and blogs have to start somewhere. It is true that initially, it might be hard for you to do any link exchange because other sites might consider yours as unable to provide any benefits to them or fulfill on the PR requirement.
However, that doesn't stop you from getting quality links from directories or other way, what you can do is by creating contents and submit to articles sites. Both ways are excellent for those new startups to generate backlinks and you don't have to worry about exchanges at the moment.
