Rep Power: 0 | | Site Redesign Without Impacting Google Ranking I want to redesign a site to make it cleaner looking and easier to navigate. However, it ranks well in Google searches and I can't risk lowering the ranking. What are the risks of redesigning a well ranked page? How can I avoid changing the ranking?
Here are a couple of issues I was thinking of:
1) For main pages keep the content and keywords the same but just change the layout. Will this be a problem? Changing the layout would include changing the navigation bar.
2) Changing secondary pages content, navigation bars, and file structure. This seems like it could be a big problem.
Please help.
Thanks,
