Also heynsanne, there is always a reason why your account is hacked, and it is probably because you weren't careful enough with all your details. If it was easy to hack, everyone's account would be hacked, it is always someone's fault for not being secure when an account is hacked! | | | | | |

I am a verified paypal user as well and I am happy with it. Some PTC sites will stop their cashout to you when they find that you are an unverified paypal user. | |

i have verified but have not seen any major difference till today. Fund receiving and sending has no problem with unverified account as well. Yes if you are a merchant then u will need to verify. | | | | | |

I heard there are lots of phishing attempts to hack the user accounts of paypal. They usually send fake email to reconfirm your paypal account with username and password. And once you have entered those informations, then your account will be gone to their hand. | | | | | |

I do remember I got an email from paypal asking me to confirm my email and password due to problems they had on their site? Do you mean that was a fake email I got? Yes! Never, ever reply to those emails. One of the main giveaway signs is that it says "Dear PayPal member". If it was legit, it would definately have "Dear Name". That doesn't mean it's definately real, but it will never be real if it says "Dear PayPal member" | | | | | |

i dont have my paypal verified. there is no need to verify it. you can do pretty mcuh everything you need to without having it verified. some of you say that it gives you a better look, being verified. i dont see the differenece or why it matters to be verified | | | | | | | |
