Effective Date: 5 November 2008
Beginning 5 November 2008 the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy is being amended as follows:
Section 5 is being revised to include activities with an entry fee and a price, including games of skill and sweepstakes. The new language is as follows:
Prohibited Activities
You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:
"5. involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from PayPal and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law." |

Paypal is always gives bad service to the user. but it has it's own system to create a a rank in the users mind.
Say for me . i am form BD. I need a paypal account but paypal will not allow me to give that but if i open that account form another section then they will give me chance to open a account | |

If you are from BD, and they don't allow your country, don't join it using other country as they will limit your account as soon as they find it out. And they can easily find it out with IP address. |

I think it's good to have this policy, to avoid any scams and it's to protect the members too. I have heard that PayPal also does not accept PTC sites, right? As many PTC sites are scams. I feel more secured to be with PayPal, as they constantly review the participating sites.
