I am looking to create a site for a few towns in the area to post classified ads from general merchandise to about anything they want, including employment. I've used Noah's Classifieds but find it somewhat limiting and would like visitors to be able to reply / view messages also. Since I plan to expand the site in the future into other areas, photo galleries, forums etc... Would I be better off finding a better (free) classifieds solution for now or going with an open source CMS like Joomla / PHPNuke / CMS Made Simple and finding a module that does classifieds? I'm just afraid the module isn't going to be as robust... Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.
