Rep Power: 409 | | Caching an off-site image Hi, I would like to use To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. on a website, but don't want to link directly to it, since it updates only every 4 hours, and doesn't always load correctly. Therefore, what I would like to do, is: (initially) Create a cache copy on my server of the image (then) When a user accesses my page, check that the copy on my server is not older than 6 hours. If it is, download a new copy to the cache, which must then be displayed for the next 6 hours. If it isn't, use the copy I have. I'm sure this can be done, but haven't ever really worked in PHP, and couldn't find anything related to this by searching the forum. Thanks To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
