Hi I am in the near future going to start an embeded computer system project.

I need to know the software end part? What does an OS need ? and any websites that can teach me about multi-processing programming?? Plus any good ASM website?

I am trying to create a a small computer device that has an output to video and audio to the tv .

I am not working on it yet I am just trying to see what I need to know and would need to build a computer system that outputs to the tv. It's just for learning experience and gaining experience I have some background in eletronics I took 3 classes in eletronics and I know programming c++ and ASM. I know some op code and currently learning cpld technology...
