Usage of bolds and italics to highlight your keywords especially your title will tell spiders and bots that the content is important. However, you should not overuse it but limit mostly to your titles and headers.

I have never heard about bold and underline but I have seen that Header tags , H1-H6 is used by people for SEO purposes. Can anyone guide me how I can use Header tags?

Actually the bold and underline works the same like your H tags. Usually people use it for their web titles or during the first paragraph to highlight the importance of a particular keywords. Doing this will help on the SEO

I didn't know this. Nice concept but isn't anchoring the keywords good enough? I mean put links with the anchor the desired keyword?.

I will try this on my Subtitles and see if they have any result. Something like a H4 in italics. Who knows, maybe you're right.

Actually the bots can pick up the <H> tag and then interpret it as important. However, as I mention only use it for your title or any particular keywords which you like to stress on. This is just one of the SEO method which everybody has been using.
