For me, the most difficult whilst challenging is on link building. If you are starting a new website building link from scratch can be a daunting task. You have to search for the most relevant directories, post in forum and very few people would want to exchange links with your site since it is new. How do you overcome those problems? Thanks for your input

The hardest thing for me is linkbuilding and keyword density. For linkbuilding, I have to post tons of posts on different forums asking for linkexchanges, searching google to see if I find sites related to mine, email the admins of those sites proposing linkexchanges, etc etc.

For keyword density... I don't really consider keyword density in my articles. I find it to frustrating....

Yeah getting the right quality links can be very difficult. Even when you search out for directories, most of them doesn't come free meaning you have to spend money to get your site listed. I think the cheapest method is to use forum signatures.

Froum sigs got me my blog from PR0 to PR3 in one month. That's really cool. Not to mention that I really did the posting because I like the forums and I learned a lot in the porcess. Pretty interesting, learn and promote your site in the same time . However, if you stop posting on a specific forum, you will not get any more traffic.

Yeah, signature links is the fastest way of course and it brings the highest amount of traffic provided that you are an active user to a forum. I know there's a guy who post an average about 50 posts in 3 different forums in a day. Just imagine how many links will you get in just a month.
