I was in a strain on the search engine optimization for dynamic sites.

So, i request all the member's over here to please guide me that how can we optimize a site which is dynamic(.asp). The site is build with asp and is totally dynamic. All the pages are .asp. So, please guide me on how to begin.

Exactly the same as normal, just promote the dynamic'd links, Google will still see the same content.
Although, I would reccomend swapping to PHP, and using mod_rewrite to optimize your chances with the search engines.

You can use mod rewrites to convert your dynamic pages in SEO friendly static pages.

Take for example /index?q=web_design can be converted into /web_design OR /web_design.html by ommiting "index?q=" and adding a .html at the end of the url.

This will help to make your site become SEO friendly.

Hi i have heard that mod rewrites works with the linux server and not with the windows server IIS and the site is hosted on the windows server therefore i am unable to use the mod rewrite.

So, there must be some or the other way to do the same thing as denoted by you and that too with some other way. If any one know how to do it then please do let me know.

There is a rewrite engine for IIS, but I don't konw what it is, off the top of my head.
Best bet is to keep them how they are, and boost the backlinks to them, that'll help you get up there in the search engines.. lol
