Stumbleupon is a brilliant way of getting traffic, but surfers are fickle, so if the content is bad, then they will just leave again.

I think what you said is really helpful for people,but I think if the one have no money to hire forum poster or article writer, he have to spend more time to write it by himself, doyou agree with me ?
I think hiring people make post or articles in your site will be good choice,as people will go to your site when your content are good, and you will hold the visitor if your content always good.
Different people different thoughts, different sites and niches different techniques. Stumbles can help if you will have something very interesting. I have tried stumbles once but I haven't something on the sites which users can gain or which can urge them to read or whatever(it was a site about my services).
Some people fond of having links, I shall say that is not bad but it can be very very harmful if you are going to have thousands links on the sites which are not related to your site. I don't think, i am sure that will harm your site so don't do it to your site.
Regarding content, everyone focus on the keywords, phrases and other stuff. Keyword density and having good proportion of keywords is good but what if you have only keywords and nothing else so don't use your keywords 100 times in a 500 words article.
I shall suggest work consistently on your site to have good positions in SERPS and attaining a good PR.

That's not a good idea. Imaging that if the writer have leave then you have nothing to show to your visitors and the visitors will leave very soon. In order to keep your visitor, write the article by yourown is better.

As I have said in my reply, everything depends on the niche and needs. It's my hot favorite site since 4 years and it has almost no content. (Content readable by Google).

Many people misunderstand the meaning of "content is important". Many of them think that the content is important and that's why i need to input as many as content i can. That's totally wrong. Important mean you need to have quality content, even you have only one. Compare to those which 100 post without any quality content, yours is still better.

Well, you are very right because someone should write content himself if he will not has money but with passage of time and fast internet arena, we shouldn't start such projects. It will be better to work for someone to earn enough money. I am working with someone and helping him managing scripts and his hosting panel. We should know everything about a specific project if we are going to start that. In very simple words we should start something with full strength otherwise we shall be wasting time and money.

That's the point, your content should have something very informative on the site if it will not have products or services.
Example is yahoo and MSN, what you think if they will be focusing on links or keyword enriched content?
